Unnecessary quote removed
I have an MSV as you know and am very happy with it...Still learning to be honest but its helped me alot...If i had an Autologic i would be exactly the same
Autologic must be scared of a bit of friendly competition...
Why worry about what the competition is doing, keep busy and keep working...If they are strong enough to compete they will if their not they will fail
I have seen and heard of people fail as they worry about what the others are doing to much and take there eye off the ball
Lets keep the D3 forum a nice friendly place
PS. Would you like me to buy you a Faultmate MSV just so you have the excuse "you were given it" when you realise how good it is and will be

BBS SPY wrote:I also dont recall ever having said that the MSV-2 could turn a D3 into a paperweight you didn',t one of your users used your 'tool' to do so.... http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic39763.html i'm sure you've read the rest on your closed forum no doubt it was 'all his fault' and there was no blame attached to you whatsoever for providing the 'ability' to do this I'm sure you'll be along shortly with an essay full of flowery words filling up space but essentially saying nothing

I didn't beacause software hacks are NOT wat a diagnistic & configuaration tool are about.... 'Hacking' a D3 to provide something that should essentially be paid for at build is the same IMO as downloading pirate music, video's, 'Warez' etc. no doubt you're more than happy to do this and I welcome the day your broadband is disconnected as a result! - if you are not aware of the latest ... read this http://newsletter.pcpro.co.uk/c/16kdkOSdSAzfcQ2Cqzc

Everyone has an opinion and yours is you dont like the Blackbox Solutions range
My opinion is that the Faultmate has worked very well on my D3 and i am very happy with it...I have also told others about it who have expressed there interest with Colin
There are pro's & con's for both device's and any future buyer should do there research before making there mind up

Its just the same as clocking / hacking the mileage on a vehicle surely. Not really playing the game is it.
You can do anything with the right software, doesn't make it right though.
Be great If LR lost millions in income because people were able to enable features as and when they want, that that they should have paid for on the options list.
But hey, who cares if LR don't get the income, and are not able to continue to employ people and build the vehicles we want to buy.

Matt, would you please keep this thread on topic. There is no need for that last post.

Sorry G, my post was in response to his post
OK, back on topic.
Why would I want to win a BBS box to mess about with my D3 when it works perfectly well as it is ?
Quite a reasonable question, that requires a reasonable answer.
Doubt I'll get one though.
