Swing away wheel carriers
Would anyone be interested in a swing away wheel carrier for Disco 3/4?
Would put the spare wheel in a similar position to that commonly used on Defenders. Saves it getting damaged or full of muck if used off road. Could be secured using standard wheel security nuts or other security device.
Disadvantage is that you would have to open wheel carrier to access rear door.

Having had a puncture last week, and only a space saver I certainly would be interested in one. Never again will I want to be underneath in the rain struggling. What a crap idea to sling the spare under there.

That looks very tasty, although that's not a D4, would that matter?
That's the Rasta one, be interesting to see what price they're going for nowadays Brendan
Should fit D4 as easily as D3 unless the larger parking sensors foul it for some reason - unlikelyThe End

Did this thread ever come to anything?
I will add myself to the 'list' if there is one.
Agree with previous comments about cost, while I don't expect it to be cheap it has to be good value.Nick

The manufacturer I found and talked to has not been forthcoming with prices and delivery, much to my annoyance.
Am investigating some other possibilities, if it proves more promising I will let people know.
My apologies
