Just seen nos 6 and 7 since launch this morning. Both in the drab grey that is available. Must be highly visible on a foggy day. Shocked

Seen 1 local to where I live. This area is normally all over a new LR/RRs like a bad rash, but not the D5. I've noticed a lot more RRS2s though. Thumbs Up

I honestly have not seen a D5 in the flesh. Obviously not blingy enough for the Salford drug dealing fraternity.

I live about 300metres away from Hunters. Seen a few but I have only followed two from behind. The first was at a distance. The second was too close for comfort. Big Cry

I'm seeing more on the roads now, although how many are dealer (and LR) loan cars (I had one of those on my driveway for 5 days) is impossible to say.

Unfortunately, the shock of the styling still hasn't dulled with familiarity.

Ukraine 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 S Manual Zambezi SilverDiscovery 3

Over the past few weeks I've just travelled nearly 3000miles in my old bus across the UK, France and Belgium and came across only one D5. Saw lots of D3/4s and RRS2, particularly at the Chunnel. Weirdly in Belgium (Ypres) I saw loads of Ssanyong Rextons, most of which seemed to be pulling horse trailers.

France 2011 Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 HSE Auto Nara BronzeDiscovery 4

Hi guys,

I've been away from the forum since accused by one moderator as an "anti" D5, so be it, but i'm far from being alone.

Just to say that i've spotted my first D5 in Portugal this summer. It had spanish plate. I'm yet to see one in french roads though! Shocked

So, i decided to keep my trusty D4 but I've ordered (for my wife) the new Peugeot 5008 GT. I've tested nearly all seven seaters available in the market...the 5008 was simply a revelation! Looks good, drives good and has a very acceptable third row. This is the top spec with the 2.0l 180bhp that will cost us less than half of a D5. LR lost another Customer...i might have stayed if the Velar had 7 seats!

Cheers all.

They must go into hiding when I'm out and about then Laughing Despite travelling all over the country to Caravan Club, Commercial sites and Caravan Rallies, I've still never seen one towing Whistle

My neighbour in France has just bought a Peugeot 5008 GT as well. He ferried me around in it a few times and I must say how impressed my wife and I were, such that it is a real option to replace her Yeti. The build quality was very high and something you'd expect in a BMW or Audi. Its also a cracking looking car.

I wonder if LR are regretting going for the mass market with the D5 bearing how much quality competition is out there with little differentiation.

With those prices I doubt the mass market would even look in the direction of the D5. Whistle
