One thing I had thought would be on this update was the automatic setting for terrain response, (Like in the new RR) maybe they are leaving that to the 'New Discovery'Cheers Ian

Also on the options list is blind-spot monitoring and T-junction cameras, plus the Range Rover’s 17-speaker Meridian sound system is a £4,000 option.

I like the Meridian system. It was in the FFRR I borrowed when my D4 was in for work, and also sampled it in the FL2 HSE. Better sound than the HK system in my D4.

The 2014 D4 face is what we get when a Freelander mates with a 2013 D4. I noticed they still have the indicators in the doors, they must be switching to led lights so they flash at the same time directly above on the new mirros.16 D4 Landmark

The door indicator isn't there, replaced with the engine variant badge. See this detail:

I stand corrected. Simple solution instead of changing the door skins. Makes sense.16 D4 Landmark

With reference to Meridian sound systems there are three different systems available.
The top of the range is the 1700W system with 29 speakers in the Range Rover and 27 in the Sport.
The mid range is the surround system with 825W and either 19 speakers in the RR or 17 in the Sport
The basic system is 380W and 8 speakers.
