Quick question, if I want to SWMBO let's me get an MXS10 what do I need to buy and what do
I need to do connecting the two bits together to get them to work with the towing electrics (old twin socket type)? No doubt others will be asking that question and I broke first!!

Understood. Just trying to work out how i'd get them to work. Are thy easy to connect together for us technical numpties or does it need soldering/connecting/splicing? Will have a look at the units on Martin's D3 Shopping Emporium.
PS Just seen on Martin's page, all is clear.

It's all plug-and-play with my adapter. They use a genuine CTEK socket, you just plug the adapter into the towing socket and the CTEK charger plug into the adapter's CTEK socket.
Absolutely no cutting, soldering or otherwise. It's just like using any other CTEK accessory.06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

I'm also pleased that BD & Del are asking the stoopid questions as at least now I don't have to ask and look equally stoopid Www.devonchilliman.co.uk

The basic difference between the models is the maximum current:
5.0 5 Amp
7.0 7 Amp
10 10 Amp
This affects the speed at which a battery can be charged, and the maximum Ah rating of battery they can charge. See http://www.ctek.com/gb/en/chargers/12v for full specs
The 5.0, 7.0 and 10 come from CTEK with a crocodile clip adapter and a hardwire socket with ring terminals:
Therefore I would imagine the group buy ones will but rockcrawler will have to confirm.06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
