Then it should be working. Unless the heater is not answering the kits commands to pair (for want of a better expression). Re connect the green wire and re power the kit while you have the pcb out of the box.

Sorry forgot to ask. I assume you do have the power for the kit connected to the main car battery and NOT a second aux battery ?

Good ,,then after reconnecting it leave it alone without touching the plip for 30 or 45 mins or so. After this see what the led does every 15 seconds. But leave the power on and don't disconnect it.

No hehe. Leave the kit apart. It sounds now as the edge on the pcb has rubbed and now shorted on the alloy case with all the inning and outing its had. For reference a pcb shorted in a case produces orange, orange, orange every few seconds.
Kit out of box
Unpowered
Re power it
Leave for 45 after it's done its green red green.
You could if you wish first remove the power to the Fbh and re power that to reboot it also.

Right. Disconnected power to the controller and heater. Took pcb back out of box. re-connected power to the heater then power to the pcb. Still 5 red flashes, will leave for 45 mins now.
