Hi Pete, so at the risk of sounding thick, are you saying I don,t need an inline fuse?

On the RHD car where the module in in the same box, EG battery box no its not needed, the wire is so short on a RHD car it cant get chafed or shorted so no fuse it needed.
Where as the LHD cars will extend the wire 5 feet to the other side of the car and it could then get chafed or shorted as the wire passes accross so does really need a fuse.

Fitted mine earlier today,(taking a leaf out of Robbie's book with convoluted tubing and tucking the redundant red wire away ), had red LED flashing initially, but a quick phone call to Pete sorted it, I must've not connected +ve connection cleanly, which causes this. Re did it without dithering and all Ok, fired into life straight away. So nice to get into a warm vehicle. Many Thanks for your help Pete, it's a fantastic bit of kit

Hi pete ,
I was going to give you a bell tommorrow to ask the very same , I bought a standard set up from you around a month ago ( not knowing you even did the gsm option ) and was wondering what availability of the units was.
Also what you would charge to supply and " add on " the gsm unit to my existing unit ?
Assuming you even offer that as an option?
Thanks.

Hopefully next week ill add the kit to my site shop for mail order, its 5 wires to solder to the main plip kit pcb. I can fit and do the soldering at my place no problem and at extra cost to the gsm kit its self.
The only criteria is that your main kit needs to have a white antenna which indicates its already gsm compatable firmware inside. yours will be
Some of the older kits need firmware programming to match the gsm addon but this is no problem at my workshops.

okay, thx!
but, is there a need to place the controller next to the fbh or next to the battery?
i do not know where GND is (next to battery or fbh), but if i mount the controller
next to the battery i just have to extend the signal cable to pin2?
