With the risk of sounding a bit dim, what is a 1533 timer and what does it do, do I need one ?.. [/b]

It allows you to run the FBH at a set time every morning, so the car is warm for you getting in, in the morning

Does anyone know if this little box of tricks is fit for making this phone operated?

Someone (Narpy, I think) PM'd me a link to a GSM box on ebay, and also a fitting guide.
Will post these up tonight.
Due to it now actually being winter, I will let this GB run until 5pm on Saturday. Payment needs to be with me within 24hrs, and all units will be ordered 5pm Sunday. My D3 Build Thread

Good to know where to find these guides again.
Does anyone recall how to find a thread where a member wired up a red led behind the oval Land Rover grille badge to indicate operation of the FBH. Sure I read it on this forum but I can't find it.

Thanks Martin. The one I'm after is linked in Narpy's comment no 5 on that thread.
Might try this if it switches off with the FBH. Suspect it's not legal to drive like that though.

I had found that link in my searches but clearly didn't read it closely enough. Wood trees.... VR6 > 330D Touring > D3 HSE > !?XC90?!

Reading through the seemingly mountains of threads on the FBH I can't seem to find an answer to a question I have.
If you turn it on via a remote via the timer, I assume the disco turns it back off when you unlock it via WBus as it wakes up. Does it have any issues firing back up when hot when you start the engine?
Cheers
