I've got the same dilemma G_Cam. Picked my timer up from Martin on Saturday as I was passing and my remote plip and box arrived from Hong Kong (or could be China?) yesterday. I was thinking of fitting everything under the bonnet next to the battery as I think I will always use the remote to start her up. This would save routing cables through to the car interior and save the issue of where to place the timer. Or am I about to do something really stupid???

Reassuring Beanie, I suppose it just means you can't see the run time on the display, but I'll be having a croissant and a nice cup of coffee then anyway (or still in bed!)

I put a flashing LED linked to the output pin 4 inside the car by the drivers air vent to show when it's running from the remote Altox GSM FBH controller thread

You don't really want latched as it is surposed to mimik the press of the button, should be momentary some are switchable some you have to swap the chip type. It's normally a+ b (a being normally open, b being common)
On a different note got mine today as I actually got into the office....
Cheers Mike

If that's the case the instructions are on the eBay page in the link,
put the link on M and your two wires on a+b then power up, all should be good.
