Dear Disco Owners,
I own a 2005 Disco 3 TDV6 S. I bought it 4 months ago and after 6000 km of driving I think my DSC is not working at all. I compared it to a Patrol and a Cruiser. These cars are so stiff in the corners without being afraid to roll over....but the disco.....
At speeds of around 60-80 mph at highway corners I ran sometimes into trouble with understeering.
In normal highway corners I cannot drive faster than that without being afraid to get into serious trouble.
My Disco is modified with adjustable height sensors (5cm higher) and huge tyres 270/75/R17 MT.
Wheel alignment was done. And a fault reading at the LR Dealer gave no results.
What can be the issue? Please advice...

I think there is your problem.
Back to normal rods and tyres that don't need the lift. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Agree far to big wheels...265/65/17 is all you need, getting very common with so many Toyota Hilux and fortuners around! At the age of your G4 and Namibian highways(gravel) the shocks in the struts could be to blame A few mods... and keeping it all running...Faultmate MSV2

Thank you both for your suggestions.
Yes, the tyres are too big. I agree. But I need to stay a while with them. The price is a bit high to change all.
I thought also about the shocks. If I drive fast into a corner, the front of the car goes extremely down. But anyway, I thought the wheel spin sensors and the DSC would react than.
