Heated front screen
Hi all,
The heated screen on my disco MY09 appears to be very very slow and not a lot of cop. Had one on a mondeo years ago and it was excellent but this seems to be pants.
Ended up scrapping it this morning and that was not in the script on purchase ......
It cleared the final bits but in big lines (about 6 across the whole screen) not as the old ford one did.
Any ideas would be much appreciated

Sounds like a duff screen to me, possibly been replaced at some time by a cheapo after-market one?
Not uncommon for some of the heating elements in the glass to go open circuit on some replacement screens.Clive
