Spotter - yeah you can't have enough can you...
says he with 4 x 17 inch Contis M+S on the car
4 x 17 inch wheels in thr garage ready for Cooper STT's
4 x 19 inch FFRR wheels on order, ready for MTR's
incidently where did you get your MTR's from and at what price, if you don't mind me asking. Hereford LR haven't got back to me even though he said I'll ring you in 10 minutes, which was at 10:00 this morning. I rang back about an hour ago and there was nobody in parts..... guess i'll try them again tomorrow.
I've phoned round a few places and either nobody can get them or they're way too expensive (one place said £180 + vat )

...except when you live in a small estate semi with a small garage already full of rubbish..........
as posted before on this thread, £147.8 per tyre fitted inc. everything from Micheldever Tyres (near Winchetser, Hants) who have a few in stock (well they did on Friday when I was in anyway)
Didn't try getting a forum price as not many people seem to live this far South end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

Don't Know, I would have thought 16s were quite common and readily available. I have only pursued the 19" tyres because they have been in short supply.

I will call Hereford Landrover tomorrow morning and ask what price they will sell you 4 for In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

and an apres fitting question now?
What tyre pressures should they be run at as my D3 is a bit wayard at motorway speeds now which surprised me. I expected the noise and slight harshness but not the constant wandering all over the road??
Feels a bit out of control...solved it temporarily by driving slower while I seek advice end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

Mike - sort of picking them up whilst down in Boughrood this weekend.
Could pick up a set for you, if you want and you could try and use the D3 delivery system?
Anybody going from South Birmingham area to Doncaster in the future?

Just had a call from Hereford LR to say mine are now on back-order because the 20 that AndrewS has secured have all gone.
Hereford are ot too sure when they'll be back in, but could be upto 2 months
