The bash plate has just paid for itself. After a day of 4x4 at Stockton and trying a sand hill that the instructor had a "fail to preceed" my mate and I had a go. We hit the bottom of the crest and had sand hit the windscreen, and the rest of the particpants could hear the impact from the sand hill behind. We made it up the hill and no damage. I think you will have a few more order Simon Best accessory I have fitted!!! Take the road less traveled. Hope your radiator does not fall out

Hi Simon,
my wife and I have recently purchased a Disco 3 and are loving it. I'm keen to make some mods to enhance our 4X4 experience and provide some added protection to the vehicle.
Are the radiator guards still available? If so how much?
I live in the ACT
Cheers, Justin.

I apologise in advance as this will probably get me in trouble, but I need topost a link here for the tow hitch thread that has now been locked.
http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic10853.html
I can understand the reason for limiting commercial posts, but I actually find this thread has a lot of information about the standard D3 hitch as well. Locking the thread will mean it slowly becomes buried in all posts to follow and all of this good information lost, and I take it that's not what the site is about either.

Hi all,
My D3 is still going strong, but after nearly 6 years, 4x4intelligence is kinda closing it's doors - well, at least handing over to another - 4x4 design and engineering. Running a family, full-time day job, and p-t 4x4intelligence finally became too much And I don't get out for enough 4wd-ing either
My old partner Michael will continue to support the products - and does have a couple of wheel carriers he is trying to move-on before Christmas. If anyone is interested, please contact him at sales@4x4DE.com.au.
Hope all are going well - Happy Christmas and New Year.
cheers,
Simon D3 - Buckingham Blue, SE, TDV6, 06 model; chipped; underbody armour; Mickey Thompson ATZ 275/65-18 AND MAXXIS Bighorn muddies; rear wheel carrier from 4x4intelligence.com; iPOD aux connection! Hi Simon.
Long time between drinks! My DIsco is still going well and so is the wheel carrier. I gues the lack of problems ia probably reflected in the lack of interaction I've had with the Disco3 site over the past 12mths or so.
It's hard to believe I'm now in my 4th year and Oct 2012 will see the end of my 5yr lease and a decision needing to be made as to whether I keep or sell. I must say the Disco has been by far the most reliable and best vehicle I think I've ever owned and it contantly blows away the other members of the Toyota Lancruiser club when we go on big off-road trips with them.
All the best to you and its been good doing business. Hope we'll still see you on the forum.
Cheers,
