I've gone for a Loire blue and Ali is having a Corris grey glad she's gone for a D4 now, the FL2 was awesome but now she'll have her own, it'll stop her nicking mine!

In May 2006, I bought a brand new D3 HSE, with detachable tow bar and electrics, side rubbing strips, roofbars and a full set of rubber mats. Back then the HSE had fridge, adaptive bi-xenoons plus most other stuff as standard spec. I paid £38k.
Begining of Jan 2013, I bought a used June 2010 D4 HSE with detachable towbar and electrics, fridge, rubber mats and factory privacy glass. Mileage was 15,500. I paid £37k.
Looking back, the £37k actually seems like a pretty good deal.
IMO, the Disco is becoming far too expensive and too luxurious. It used to be that the Disco was well placed between the Defender and FFRR. That's really not the case anymore, with the possible exception of the base GS model.
IMO, the D4 HSE and even more so the HSE Lux, is just a more practical, slightly slower, 7 seat FFRR.
I can't see myself buying a brand new Disco again and may well be priced out of the Disco altogether. Being self-employed, I've always had a mental block with paying much more than c.£40k for a vehicle that I'll be putting 20-25k mile pa on.
Perhaps in the future the top spec. Deafner replacement will be more suitable for my needs and budget.

Which model?
If it's an HSE do you mind checking if it has heated rear seats and tyre pressure monitoring as standard as the price lists/configurator don't agree?

Yes I think they are too but the configurator does not list them.
