New low cost Diagnostic Tool from BBS
In the faultmate fcr V IID tool thread, i have recently announced that we are now developing coverage for the Disco 3 etc on our hugely successful Nanocom Evolution hardware.
A few have contacted me about this and as this information does not really belong in an FCR V IID thread, i thought to make a new and separate thread for it here and provide some pictures. Everybody loves pictures
We are planning a general all vehicle systems tool as well as a dedicated EAS controller.
This is a typical Menu page that allows selection between the various vehicle systems.
The 2 arrows at the bottom allow you to scroll to other pages.

The Backgrounds can also be changed on the Nanocom setup page
When you select a vehicle system, you will get a function page like this.

Inputs will look like this.
As the code has not yet had error handling added and is not connected to a vehicle when these pictures were taken, they currently show gibberish from the buffer or nothing.

With such a graphical display we have typically used it to provide quite a unique function to this hardware in the form of an Instrument mode, where the unit provides a constant display of some real time values.
For this reason we also have an optional Stainless Steel mounting bracket and universal suction cup holder

These are examples of screens for the EAS control capability.

I hope this gives everyone a much better idea of what we are now developing

Thank you for your kind comments of support Wiggs.
As the very first advocate and supporter of BBS and what we have always striven to provide, without which along with this boards support, many owners may well have never ended up with the modification possibilities that many now take for granted, it really means a lot to me that you would appreciate that times have changed and that we really need to move with the times, if only to retain our lead.
To be fair you are not entirely alone in realizing that change is inevitable and that i have held off doing so for as long as i possibly can solely for the sake of you guys that i consider more as as friends than customers.
I would never wish to do any thing disrespectful to my friends, but it is now well overdue that i showed the newbies some BBS teeth and teach them exactly why we have always held pole position in the provision of Land Rover diagnostic equipment for many years before the D3 even existed.
2013 is a whole new year and with it, i intend to bring a whole new world of diagnostic capability.

Fantastic news. As a user of the evo2 for my disco 2, the thought of when (if) I upgrade to a disco 3, I can upgrade my evo to come with me is awesome.
