Hi ajps,
Glad to hear your enjoying your unit. Were working on the instrument mode at the moment. Should not be long to wait now.

Heads up guys,
A new release was launched yesterday addressing a small bug and giving the ability to comm and hence re-flash ECUS that may have failed at the first try for whatever reason, or that were flashed with the wrong files.
It is recommended you all upgrade your units!
Thanks
Chris

I have posted this over on the BBS forum but realise that they are now on their Christmas break
I am trying to do a ccf edit to switch on DRL's I have been on the genesis site done the edit and transferred the files to my SD Card, I then pop this back into the Nanocom and connect it to the car, it goes through the process of asking which file to open and I select INFO.ENC file that I have placed in a folder in the BBS folder on the card but after a short while it pops up with an error
Unable to find SBL File

I have reformatted the card numerous times and re downloaded the files for the card from the restricted area but still get the same Perhaps it's something I'm doing wrong I don't know. I have recorded a video of the series of events but it is taking ages to download from my phone
Just to update this, the latest software update to 1.21 has fixed my problem and it is all working as it should now Cheers Ian

On behalf of my team, huge thanks for your appreciation of our efforts Ian
Despite our obvious years of experience and history, the Nanocom Evolution is a totally different platform and especially given that we have added coverage of all CAN BUS vehicles in a radically new functionality based way, and pushed extra hard to get this new development released in time for Christmas, it was unrealistic to not expect the existance of some problems and bugs.
But as everyone has seen and read, we are absolutely dedicated to debugging and adding to the Nanocom Evolution functionality and capability at an unprecidented rate, which we fully expect to keep up with, if not improve upon.
Any new updates being released anytime soon? It's been over 6 weeks since the last. You spoiled us by having almost weekly releases and then leave us wanting more.
Must be something big coming since it's been so long. Key Fob programming? Transfer Case Resetting?

I had a drink with my number one last night and read him your post DiscoNels, because it so accurately and fully encompasses our thoughts too.
There are indeed new upgrades with additional things and some VERY nice improvements for the CAN BUS on their way. For example, we have pretty much finished implimenting a change that almost eliminates the annoying vehicle detect process
Although to some it might seem like developing suddenly stopped, but we have actually been very busy here at and have released a few upgrades for the Nanocom Evolution over the last couple of months, however as this has mostly been a major of clearing the decks in respect of minor problems with the pre CAN BUS coverage, there was really not much point in posting up about them here.
Of course, as ever, sods law dictated that this tidy up of the existing stuff took far longer than expected and not helping matters, we have just been closed for a 10 day Easter break.
You might also be interested to know that in the last 3 months we have recruited two new and very capable programmers specifically for Nanocom Evolution developments and although it has been something of an initial distraction for my existing guys teaching them the ropes, they are both now finding their feet with it and in the long run this will be a very good thing for everyone as it will also allow us to finally finish up the final tweaks on a rather major upgrade for the faultmate MSV-2.
We all start back on Monday, with a clean deck, with more hands on deck than we have ever had, all fully refreshed and all very much raring to go.
And yes we have a long list of things to do and add
So we do apologize for leaving you wanting and anxiously waiting, but i promise you that this is just the calm before the storm.
