Just for information, if they are D4 fridges and you put them in a D3 then by default they will NOT turn off when you turn off the ignition, if you leave it overnight your battery will be flat, just a word of warning so you are prepared and have a system to remind you or you could be very inconvenienced
According to my auto technician there is a way to adapt this in the fuse box, so maybe those buying could research that if it is in fact a D4 fridge and is going in a D3
I would just add that it is very easy to accidentally knock the switch to on, it has happened to me twice! Not a good experience when you face a flat battery at the most inconvenient of times
I have today put a OEM fitted cubby fridge from a MY12 D4 into my D3 and it switches off with the ignition just fine.A shapely pair of legs is one thing but a nice bum is not to be sniffed at.

A piece of VERY expensive thin plastic that can be used as a tray sitting with its edge around the top of the fridge to put bits in, or turned over making a lid for the fridge with a dome like effect due to its depth when overturned.
A year or so ago they were a tenner, goodness knows how they get away with their rip off prices now! I would definitely not pay more than ten pounds for it, it's pretty useless and just gets in the way.
All I did with mine is plug it in - turn off the ignition and the switch light goes off and the fan turns off straight away A shapely pair of legs is one thing but a nice bum is not to be sniffed at.

Involves removing cup holders, unscrewing the cubby and lid hinge, the lifting out the old unit, plug it into the loom and slide back in followed by reassembly. No activation needed!Justin

Very interested, even though I'm currently in Spain (with Disco) and suffering from warm lemonade and chocolate (see also - why did I wait until the day before leaving before ordering a spare wheel protector?)
Anyway, as I say, interested in the GB, but have a question also - my current cubby has a coin tray, is the one for the fridge any different to the standard one?
