Clicking from auto box when brake pedal applied.
Just noticed I get a clicking noise on Mrs DSL's D3 S auto (TDV6) when I apply the brake pedal and the gearbox is in N or P. I can feel it through the gear lever. Sound is coming from the gearbox area. Any thoughts before I take it to the stealer tomorrow for a starter motor issue?? My car (same engine & gearbox) does not do the clicking noise.

Mine makes a faint clicking noise. Have seen this on the RRS forum before - seems some click louder than others. It's the solenoid that stops you from moving the gear selector without pressing the brake pedal that makes the noise.IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver

Cheers, will get them to change it if they have one, otherwise will wait until it's in next.

Just send your LearJet over (Bristol Airport would be good) & I'll bring them personally!
