Lane Change Indicators

Well, having just compelted my Land Rover Experience - WOW....

The HSE we drove (a 56) had lane change indicators, just press the stalk slightly, and 3 flashes, also, had the clock on the instrument panel where mpg is, and finally, could use sat nav on the move.

Now mine is a 07 HSE, yet doesn't have these features, so why not, and how do I get them???

Cheers

I have the lane change indicators on my 07 LE (Irish spec - S with extras) also I can change the display on the dash using the button on the end of the indicator stalk. Don't have sat nav.

If you've not got them, its an 06 model year....check your vin No.....you may have been sold an old-stock 06 MY and had it registered in 07 Big Cry

Mine has them, I took delivery in dec 06, its a 56 reg (though now on private plate) and is an 07 MY, I had to wait 12 weeks for delivery as I specifically asked for an 07 MY and wanted the nav-on-the-move and freeview digital TV options (only 07 MY on)

You can always have a word with your dealer and tell them that someone you know bought a D3 the sam etime and has features you don't... what are they going to do about it ??

I had no Settings Menu (all other S spec's did) so my dealer eventually persuaded LR to send them the missing part (the memory seat module) that enabled the menu to be activated and accessible.

Always worth asking.

there were dealer incentives to shift 06 models, when was yours registered and have you checked its vin to see if its an 06.....I seem to remember 07 production started in late august but may be wrong, if yours is an 06, it will have sat in a pound somewhere for a wee while, perhaps over 5 months!!! Shocked

the least the dealer cdould do is either offer it at a great price or add some kit as a compensation

My local stealer tried to con me in the same way...(Shields of Glasgow.......don't touch them!!!) I got honest advice here on the forum and a super deal from Ryan at Lakeland.......only 150 miles away so negligible in the grand scheme of things!

When Ford took over ownership, one of the things they wanted to rationalise was LR's propensity to make small changes during the production (manufacturing) year. It seems that they have not been too successful if some MY07s have the feature and some don't.

When I bought mine, I did research what I was getting and only regret not waiting for the MY10 which is obviously have all the good features. (Now I will remove tounge from its firm position in cheek.)

have contacted the dealer, and they said they did tell me it was an 06 model, mmmm, bit of debate there I think, but that's why he gave me a cracking deal, so what do you reckon - new car TDV6 HSE (well 06 Rolling Eyes ) me as the first owner, side steps, tow pack, front and rear lamp guards, and VRIP policy for £40K.....

go on them, make me cry........

He has confirmed my sat nav can be upgraded to work on the move, but the lane change, and clock cannot, and they would charge an hours labour to do this Rolling Eyes

oh, one other thing, I contacted my local stealer about this, and they said my car needs a recall regarding the tow pack - even though they have had the car twice now and never done this Rolling Eyes - anyone know what this is about??

Well the price was good, mine was dearer but then again, I had some other options...priv glass, tow pack, TV, tyre pressure monitoring etc

I think your price was fair for a MY06 from a main dealer but I'd push them for the nav update for free (while they are updating the towpack????)
