Alternators give not two figs to time nor mileage...I had one go after 9 months and 10k miles 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Right up date.
Charged battery over night (fortunately out charger in caravan). Car started and all faults apart charging one have disappeared, managed to get down to Westover LR in Salisbury first thing. They now have the car and are looking at it, also sorted a LRA car out for me via Enterprise, a Toyota Land Cruiser you thought LR sat nav was bad. So am now mobile just waiting for my D4 to be fixed hopefully soon.
All in all so far impressed with LRA and Westover, Pete is aware and is keeping an eye on things so yet again LR have come up trumps as far as I am concerned. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Right update
Car now back all fixed with nice new alternator, car washed and cleaned, spotless inside and out, box of sweets and new air freshener also inside.
The service offered from Westover Land Rover and in particular the service adviser Ian was above 1st class I cannot fault them in any way
Also big thank t Pete for keeping a eye on this
Oh and what ever you do please do not moan about LR sat nav until you have used one in a Land Cruiser, it was worse than pantsMY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange
