United Kingdom 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Barolo BlackDiscovery 3

I have an IID tool, which module do I need to recode / update? I already have rear view camera enabled in the ACM CCF.

Also, does everyone elses vehicle arrow (the ^ shaped representation of the vehicle) flash/blink?

Cheers

Have you set the "MY10 Screen Fitted" option in the IID tool?

What version of firmware do you have in the IID tool? I have V3.00.00 B2439 - beta version.

I'm not sure if you need the beta version to get the option for the MY10 screen. If you don't have it after updating your IID tool, you might need to drop a line to Pat at GAP.

Thanks for your help so far Smile

I also had to cut out some off the rear plastic pick up point in the center as mine would not sit back far enough but did not have to trim ant of the H trim Thumbs Up

I have noticed the odd reference to the timed heating function in a 2010 D4. So can you enable this if you have a 2010 D4 sat nav in a D3 ...... just askin' .....

Does anyone know what the plug number is that's required to allow power to be put into the D4 sat nav?

Finlally got round to fitting the screen I bought off beanie. Fairly straightforward as beanie had already taken care of some of the modifications neeeded. Some things I've noticed (having only given it a short drive to work):

1. It did not recognise the GPS signal. I then went into compass view and it all started working. Not sure if this is a coincidence or if that made any difference?

2. I couldn't figure out how to pull the cable out the back of the sat nav under the seat! My view was restricted and I didn't want to damage anything. I ended up unwrapping the loom just before it and piggy-backing onto the ABS sensor wire. Actually a lot neater and easier.

3. At the minute my position cursor is flashing. The GPS is tracking me fine though. It's quite annoying. Hope this is only temporary. [Edit: found out this is what it is meant to do, so guess I'll just have to get used to it.]

4. When I enabled the reverse camera in the IIDTool (MY10 screeen fitted option), it completely killed the screen. I went back in and disabled it and everything was fine again. Need to play around with this when I have more time.

5. Still need to try adding TMC as I bought the wrong splitter.

Really happy with the result though.

D3 SE with Hankook MT 275/65/R18, IID BT Tool, ProSpeed rock/tree sliders + compressor guard, RLD sump guard & winch tray + 13,000lb hidden winch, Gearbox guard, Frontrunner 80l aux tank with fuel gauge, V8 brake upgrade, Traxide USI-160 dual battery system, Frontrunner ladder, custom boot storage, Lazer LED driving lights, de-cat exhaust, Aftermarket Oro TPMS, i7 Mac Mini touch screen install (running Windows 10) mirrored on rear screens.
