Ten years ago, I posted the first post here and opened the site.
http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic5.html
[Not sure what happened to topics 1-4 or posts 1-25 ]
Mind you, back then, it took two days for someone to find the site and reply
However, it was from Gareth who is still here and still in a Discovery
In 2004 I just thought that D3 owners deserved somewhere to talk about them, and here we are 32,000 members and 1.3 million posts later
I've been totally amazed by how popular the site has become over the years; there have been plenty of bumps along the way but I'm still as enthusiastic about the site and the D3 as ever.
Thank you to everyone: members, sponsors, moderators, everyone who has bought a sticker, calendar, T-shirt, adapter, umbrella or donated.
All of you have made and continue to make the site a fantastic place to run and long may it continue 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
Any issues with the site let me know!

Happy Birthday to us!!
Kudos Martin!
It's quite staggering when you think just how much money and frustration this site must have saved Discovery owners.. It truly is a phenomenal resource and has been a great help to me as a more recent disco 3 owner. Very grateful to Martin and all who take the time to share their knowledge on here

Well done indeed. It was a tip off from a Caravan Club Site Warden that introduced me to the Forum. In the early days I found more experience on here than I gained from the local dealer. Some things never change - the dealers know more about the D3, but the collective wisdom on here knows even more.

Cost me a fortune AND saved me a fortune, without the site and info it's members have passed on i wouldn't still be driving a D3, never mind SWMBO having one too
I have not only gleaned a lot of knowledge but also met many wonderful people, many of whom I now am delighted to be able to call good friends of mine
Of course there are other places on the web too, some of those I have found through this site and it's members
I'm going to stick my neck out here, and rather than thank Martin, thank everybody for, well, everything

Well done Martin, bet those first couple of days in the wilderness were a bit lonely.
Great site, entertaining, educational, cost me a lot (on toys), saved me a lot (on maintenance) and met some great people. Can't say better than that. Arthur.
Comedy was a horse, Harvey a dog, both sadly gone. Thought I was choosing a password!

Personally i think the site is a mere vehicle itself. A vehicle to bring together like minded people and Its the members that contribute to the site that give it some sense and purpose.
Even although i spend my days over on defender2.net these days i still browse here in the hope i get another D4 and be part of the community again...
Happy birthday D3/4 whatever its called..... Defender 90 CSW MY06
