Warranty or not?

Picked up my 56 plate Disco 3 with 71000 on the clock 10 days ago, I have been reading a bit on here about a few people who have 3rd part warranties.

I just wondered whether it might be worth considering, and what sort of thing would be covered?

Anybody have experience, or suggest any good warranty companies?

Or are they a waste of paper?

advice much appreciated

There's plenty of threads on here regarding warranties.

Here's one. http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/finance-insu...-vf24.html

Depends if your handy with the spanners (diy), or use a garage for repairs.

For peace of mind I have Warranty Direct. Threads on here will point you to the level of cover/price. If you go this route bargain with them for the best level of cover.

not sure but if your only 71k miles you may be able to get landrover warranty..think the cut off is 100k...but could be ten years in which case no good..
as for is it worth it...they are complicated bits of kit and parts are getting expensive...
personally would get a vehicle like this without one...
