Depends if your handy with the spanners (diy), or use a garage for repairs.
For peace of mind I have Warranty Direct. Threads on here will point you to the level of cover/price. If you go this route bargain with them for the best level of cover.

not sure but if your only 71k miles you may be able to get landrover warranty..think the cut off is 100k...but could be ten years in which case no good..
as for is it worth it...they are complicated bits of kit and parts are getting expensive...
personally would get a vehicle like this without one...

jonny I was with warranty direct for 2 years and had one or two wheel bearings and water pump paid for by them, i then decided to sell her and upgrade early 2014 but with a divorce and stuff happening in the family i cancelled it. I then thought ill keep her (disco) that is not the wife all well until the handbrake aculater went £600 Compresser £500, Oh i wish i had kept it going.
