She is petrol. Lovely and quiet. Not sure if it's a five bearing, but I'll get hold of the engine number and find out. I'll get a pic of engine bay. Think I've got one somewhere! Here are some pictures taken lunchtime today.

It looks like a really good honest unmolested example, I do hope it goes to someone who appreciates it. 1981, was the first year that the Defender style seats were fitted, and yours has them in good nick. GLWS.

Here are some pics of engine bay Gareth. Also some pics of headlining and door trims.
Hopefully these will be the right way up!

That's a 5 bearing engine. All the earlier 2.25's had 3 bearing cranks, and were prone to crank-knock.

Took some quick snaps of the underside today. Doesn't look too bad.

Land Rover went off with her new owner yesterday on the back of a transporter. Possibly the fastest and furthest she will ever have travelled!
Having had no local interest, I gave in and put it on eBay.
Sold within a couple of hours.
Nice fellow picked it up yesterday with no fuss or haggling. Very easy and pleasant transaction.
Thank you to all who have looked and commented on the forum here.
