He has said he won't name them, which on balance is probably the best way.
In future, perhaps do as I do, and ask them nicely not to fill the washer on a service, and not to charge me. I use Halfords concentrate, and its not frozen yet this year.

SWMBO car (none LR) going service Monday so today I've been and checked fluids etc so they dont need to charge for fluids that are none essential to service; screen wash being one.
Experience is a difficult teacher, because she gives the test first and then the lesson afterwards!!!!

Euro car parts 25 litres of concentrate £10 when on offer does not freeze and can be used neat. The only thing that kept working on my d4 was the washer jets. D4
