Don't...... Had one for a week and believe or not hated every minute of it! Didn't like it at all and believe it or not I think the Disco is a better car....certainly practically!
Now if you said an RRS then I would be rather gutted as your neighbour! Though still not as practicable....but they look gorgeous!

When I parted with my P38, I tested drove both a FFRR and the D4. Even though I'd been in a FFRR for 10 years, I felt that the drive in the D4 felt much better and the driving position much more comfortable.
Needless to say, the D4 won D4 MY14 XXV - RLD/IID BT
D4 MY13 HSE Lux - RLD/IID BT
P38 RR - Sad parting
110 - Even sadder parting
S3 88" - Still going strong after 23 years of ownership

There are a number of downsides, but if you can afford it (in every sense) a new FFRR is the way to goMike

Steve with the speed you change cars I would go for it and if you don't like it, well it will be time to change again in a couple of weeks Cheers Ian

Your disco is probably due about the same time as mine...just got my 15plate details...clock is ticking!
If you change regularly like me, just wait until next time, maybe see if the dealer will lend you oneMike

Looking at the business you put their way Steve why not simply ask the deal principal to lend you his for a week - the different in cost for you switching to regular FFRRs will certainly be worth the pain for him MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

Which engine, the V8 Diesel or the V8 5.0 LTR Petrol?
Both better engines than the D4 but use even more liquid gold than the D4.
Had a go in a 5 ltr on the track once, that is a seriously good engine but shares in Esso or Shell are a must. From a drivers point of view the FFRR all day. From the family vehicle point of view D4 every time.Discovery 4 HSE

the arm rests are great as tooth picks when you get something stuck between your teeth. At least they were in the previous model, not sure about the new ones.
boot is very small compared to Disco.
but on the plus side - you can look down on all the other plebs on the road knowing that you are far superior than them Duncan

^this.....a good regular customer like you must be worth his weight in gold....surely they could accommodate you for a decent trial period "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Got to admit to me the FFRR is raging really quickly and not a great design, interior however is beautiful.
RRS would be my tool of choice if I was hopping across to RR from LR.
If I was going to the bling side though then I'd have to do a direct comparison with the new GL and I've heard that's pretty good in its latest guise and far more practical than the RR.MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)
