Took an MY15 HSE demo out this morning from Harwoods Pulborough. I couldn't get over how refined it all was. You expect a brand new car to be tight but this was so much better than I anticipated with very little road noise and no noticeable engine noise either!
I'm not generally impressed by stop / start tech but found this to work really well as there is no noticeable delay in waiting for the engine to start back up as you are busy putting your foot on the brakes and then back into drive. Very impressed and I now must have one!
Then spent the next 2hrs trying to get the figures to work on the LR Freedom plan but it's not looking good. They have only offered £7k for mine.

I did the online WBAC valuation the other night and that came out at just under £7k so I guess the LR dealer valuation isn't far out but the old romantic in me thought they might offer me a good price to enable a deal to be done. MY15 D4 SDV6 HSE Corris Grey - Gone

Seems to be the modern way dealers do business these days. Offer you bottom dollar for your PX, whilst what their selling is the best thing since sliced bread and they couldn't possibly offer any discount
As Land Rovers seem to be shifting easily I suppose they don't have to be too generous!! Discovery 4 HSE

I think with the LR freedom finance there is a dealer deposit and LR deposit put in. 50/50 split. So on an SE, SETech £2000 contribution (£1K dealer, £1K LR) and £3K on HSE and lux. So maybe they are offering £8 on your car but only say it's £7. Makes it hard to know what your getting for yours and what other discounts are available.

Yep I appreciate that they are selling very well but given that I am showing loyalty to the brand etc then they might ease things along a little.
One thing the salesman, sorry I mean sales executive made a big thing of, was as if he was doing me, and only me a massive favour was the £3k deposit contribution that is split 50/50 between LR and the dealer. When the figures were nowhere near working he went away and then came back and offered the extra £1500.00 discount. He wasn't doing too bad up to that point but lost brownie points there!
Stenh02 - as above as we were speccing a HSE then it is a total of £3k contribution but this was completely separate to the px offer.
From the paperwork the only thing that appears to be helping me out is by throwing in GAP insurance and Autoglym exterior & interior protection. Anyone know how much he is saving me here? Cheers MY15 D4 SDV6 HSE Corris Grey - Gone

If bought full price probably £1200. I think the gap on our ff was meant to be £790 but got it for £490 and imagine the cleaning stuff must be between £3-500. But never been offered it or bought it.
So as far as what it's worth to dealer ?£6-700. Only worth it if you were wanting it at full price.

GAP insurance cost me £300 when I got my D4 last year.
