fill it up to the brim when empty light comes on and drive until empty again
then do simple math how many miles to liters you got out of it to have true MPG and I bet it would be around high 20ties

I have a confession to tell,
I have been a huge dic ead, I was looking at the road trip closely this afternoon and noticed something that did not add up, the old car was in Klm's for the distance and I have just noticed that the D4 is set to miles, even though I have been entering Klm's, so I changed it over and wish I had not.
:bulb:
This is the true reading.

Does Road Trip automatically log and record mileage and journeys, or do you have to keep entering data manually? Sorry to go off topic, but it might be the answer to my business mileage prayers!2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

Red, have to do it manually, quite easy to do plus you can put in expenses as well if needed, well worth the money.

Well just by way of an update to the Stop/Start issue, the dealer has replaced the Stop/Start module, Power Distribution module and the gateway module. All with no affect. I kicked up a fuss and said that i feel they should replace the vehicle as they have now had it for 24 days (when i only had it 18 days!).
They are now asking to get a LR engineer down from the factory and i have given them till Tues. After that new car time. They agreed that was reasonable. Now we will see how that goes. And i wonder if they keep to that agreement!
Seems like something is fundamentally wrong with the car if after 3 weeks with a dealer they can't find the fault.

So a further update. After giving them till today, they have informed me the field tech will not see the car until the 19th May at which point he will stay with the car until the issue is fixed or the car will be returned to Solihull. Only after this will the dealer think about "buying back" the car. But they cannot give any deadlines on a resolution.
Now firstly i am massive disappointed as we agreed on Friday that today would be the deadline. And whats this about buying it back?!? Surely its faulty therefore rejected not sold back to the dealer?
Time to PM Pete I think. Although I am not sure LR Customer Services are going to want to help me reject the car.
Do you think going to Whatcar etc would help or make the situation worse?

Are you a member of the AA or RAC? These people offer free legal advice on matters like this and I was able to use one of them to guide me through the letter writing process to successfully reject a car (Citroen C5) that I had owned for a year by the time rejection was initiated. (The issues had led to the car being in the workshop for a total of 5 months out of the 12 months that I had it).
Once they were involved, I got very straight advice from them and the process was quick and relatively painless. And very satisfying.
Worth having a word with them if you have cover.2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

I think you are being taken for a ride. You should formally and in writing reject the car and demand a full refund or a brand new identical vehicle. Take legal advice asap.Volvo XC60 - does all that the D4 should have done

So the thrilling conclusion of this story....
So I Red's and jdhx's advice on contacted the AA legal team. Got a letter drafted and just as I posted it, the dealership phoned me saying they think they have resolved the problem! After all that the wire that goes to the battery monitor was crossed (terminals the incorrect way round). Which was giving a false reading to the Stop/Start module. Hence not cutting out.
The dealership were very apologetic since they think they should have caught it earlier. On the plus side they did put รยฃ500 behind the bar for our our wedding last sat, so not a complete loss!!
So all in all, a frustrating experience but at least a half decent ending. Case closed
