Thanks for the info, the picture should help loosen the wives purse strings. Next stage is to book it in for a complete colour code respray . Bumpers, archs, door handles door pilliars, tail gate, rear plate light holder, basically all that can be painted. Should remove the problem with over polish marks on the plastic.

Four & half hundred for pound notes, I thought a good price compared with two new tyres and relacquer of the four alloys, thanks to land rover cleaning them with some strong stuff, looked brillant when purchased then down hill since.

Not a bad price, you could even flog your old wheels off on fleabay or keep them for putting on tyres for the mud!

Wiggs , see from your postings you've fitted a rev camera . Did you buy seperates or wire a camera to your console screen ?

Wired to the sat nav screen , although at the moment you have to access it through the diagnostic screen ...G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

, thought so . Was hoping you had bought a monitor that you could recommend.Have read Arsi's posting on the Kenwood touchscreen but was sounding out alternatives that would fit into the sat nav , or in my case , non sat nav cubby . cheers , D

If you dont feel like hacking away at your cubby hole why not try a rear view mirror monitor ?
Some are quite smart ...the mirror turns into the screen when you pop it in reverse.
And if your car is the equivelent to the "s" you proberly wont have the auto dimming mirror anyway .
There are also sun visor screens , but to be practical you would have to leave your sun visor down

Wiggs,
Do you have have other pictures of the colour coding, ie from front and back ?
Also who did your paintwork I've been quoted £1100 + vat from prospray at Irlam. With you being M/cr based I could compare prices. Cheers

Here ya go
I have loads more but i have exceeded my upload limit
As far as cost goes i paid £500 all in ...however it was the first disco 3 he had ever done ... i also gave him all the instructions how to remove all the parts .
It did have to go back a couple of times as he had not rubbed some off the arches down enough to remove the "bobble effect ".
I can give you a number if you want ..hes based in Radcliffe ...but he may charge more than mine as it turned out very time consuming for him ...on the other hand he know 's what he 's doing now so it could be the same.
I would also ring round a few sprayer's ..you would be supprised at how much difference they charge.
Just for an example ..i damaged my front bumper on an offroading day ..mainly scratched the paint .
to spray the bumper ..with me taking it off ranged from £80 - £220 ....Big difference
Any more info you need just let me know ....also are you considering getting your door handles sprayed aswell?G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
