Am I right in saying that this locks to the VIN for changes to CCF and vehicle configuration, but will allow you to read and clear all codes on D3's and D4's?
Not just D3s & D4s but also RRS (L320 and L494), FFRR (L322 and L405), FL2, Evoque and Defender (from 2007). As Pat says, you get live data and service functions as well as fault codes on these vehicles too. In many ways the development pace between models reflects the interaction with the users. GAP are exceptionally good at adding features at user requests and will experiment with more unusual feature requests with the beta users. If you wanted specific features for the FL2 you only have to ask - I have had 6 different software loads on request in just one week.
