Are you serious window replacement? I had my passenger window mechanism replaced 3 weeks ago, the window was going down skew and if open about 150mm it rattled.
Well I can believe it my D2 also got transformed in 15min to a pile of ash 2000km after a 60000km services see my album. That was the reason for my D3 Forensic report stated it was due to the oil filter that came loose and thus due to the position of the filter on the D2 dumped the oil on the exhaust / turbo and ignited.
Did your insurance ask for a forensic investigation? If please let us know what was the reason. White LR3 TDV6 2007

All of a sudden I don't feel so hard-done-by!
sh tfu ckda mnbug erit!
In that case you either go for suicide or homicide. if you need assistance with the latter I am sure you could find some volunteers around here.
Still not cool with the way Midrand have treated us on this crash thing, so still have to deal wwith some emotions there myself. In a very small way i understand how you feel
Did you do any mods to the vehicle? have you spoken to the insurance co?

OK, we have the D3 back again.
Some minor QC issues, like the air inlet pipe not being connected to the turbo , and a couple of plastic nuts missing, but otherwise looks good. A-bar and spots still need fitting, but the missus couldn't take driving the loaners any more.
Most importantly, its now been TorqTuned!
Dunno if I should let the missus loose with it, but it goes like sh off a shovel for sure
