Not sure as default but I have an app that will fire up apps based on Bluetooth pairing. So when I get into my car it fires up Waze etc. automatically. Can't see why it can't fire up InControl etc.
The phone has to be plugged into the socket in the upper glove box to be able to use Incontrol, for some reason Land Rover decided against a bluetooth connection for it
Bluetooth should still pair when plugged in to the USB?
It does pair as far as i can see, I like the Music App as it handles playlists well and shows proper album art on the screen BUT the sound quality is pants on the Meridian system as it streams it over Bluetooth rather than the InAPP connection. Plug the phone into the USB port instead and play same track it sounds superb.MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

Hardly any stock of HSE or HSE Lux within the UK at the moment.

haven't tried it out yet, but will the music app also access the spotify playlists?
otherwise I guess one plays spotify via USB through the Meridian system, right?

I play mine through Bluetooth but quality isn't best. It's good but just not great. I've just ordered a jack to connect it that way as that's how you play it through wires not through the usb as I found out when I tried yesterday.
Genuinely these cars are stunning though. Pity the same can't be said about the dealer network

Gave up with my original order. I couldn't get anyone to give me an expected build/delivery date.
However, managed to find a dealer stock model in Waitomo grey which was almost identical.
Pick it up next week

Dealers seem to be using a bit of guess work with delivery dates, saying what they think we want to hear. Ordered my Montalcino Red HSE in middle of May and told you will get it by the end of June Sir.
Well still don't have but to be fair they do now have it but I'm not in position to collect till middle of next month. I work outwith the UK and left on the 30th of September, they received it on the 1st of October. I had to wait so now they will have to wait, might be home late November, earlier hopefully as looking forward to it. To be fair I did say I wasn't in a hurry and if it arrived after the new reg's I wouldn't be to upset.
Dura tracs, surround camera and locking rear diff so out to play when home.Discovery 4 HSE Montalcino Red

Music App doesn't seem to work with Spotify it only works with native IPODS (iPhones etc) if you plug your phone into the USB then the spotify app will be controlled and will play at full resolution for decent sound. Ive moved away from spotify now with the Apple Music solution, if you have a large offline library on spotify it did get confused with track numbers sometimes.MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

looks
I nearly went for that colour but couldn't find one in the flesh to look at. looks very nice.
Re timescales I ordered 1st week April and it was built 2nd week August a tad over 4 months ! I wanted most of the factory options so the dealer couldn't find one in the pipe line for me even in Corris so had to wait.MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

Well, I finally picked it up and managed to drive through London without anyone pinching the spare wheel at the lights!
Very pleased with it but do have a bit of bed time reading to do.
Now I need to get things on/in it ready for a few trips to the Alps. I have a set of Thule K66 XXL chains I used on the old car but according to the documentation they wont fit even though the tyre sizes are very close. Anyone tried it?

Try the chains on? I think it will be obvious if they won't fit. Just watch the clearance between the chains and the suspension components.

Thanks for the reply,
I was hoping someone may have already done it and could tell me their configuration of the cross members they used. Saves me faffing about.

Pics, or it didn't happen...
Looks absolutely stunning in that colour.
Quick question about the Lux badge on the back - anybody else think it's a bit out of place with the black pack; thinking of losing mine as soon as it arrives?
