I thought exactly same as you. Im considering colouring my luxury badge black, my ladder is a different black too so may well colour code that too as it looks faded on the car even though its new. I think its navik black or something thats used on the black pack.MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

Can't say I noticed it but looking at the pic I see what you mean. I'll have a look in the light tomorrow. I probably would have not noticed until you mentioned it! Might investigate the removal. Anyone done it? Heatgun?

I thought all "Black Packs" didn't have the right hand badge fitted for precisely this reason

Mine was factory Black pack and came with a Black "Discovery" but bright "luxury" looks pants in my opinion
also got bright nuts which the dealers swapping

Very nice RDR. My steps arrived today (all black). Should look good.
Haven't made my mind up about the badge. Doesn't really bother me (at the moment)

Here are some questions I hope someone can answer.
1. Can I stop the Satnav reducing the volume of the radio when giving instructions? I'd just want it to speak over the top at the same volume. Something I could do on the Merc.
2. Again on the Merc, the front PDC comes on automatically when at low speeds. Useful in car parks/narrow gaps etc. Can I enable this somehow? (without pressing the button)

Looks lovely - great colour and the black looks good and even better with the side steps
Wonder if you could get a set of side steps that have a black trim instead of the silver one?

Looks really really nice
Not sure about the volumes I know you can alter each items volume level whilst it's active using volume button but not sure if you can stop it muting background sources.

I've been trying to do that since I got my old D3 in 2007 !!! Can't understand why LR continue to ignore the problem? It's such a simple fix and would make things so much better.

Im almost positive you could - you used to be able to preset the volumes in a menu option, im equally sure you can turn it off...but personally sometimes i like it loud and other times quiet so its good to adjust on the flyMike
