yep, thats correct - logic says that as the D4 is an updated D3, then 109's should be good for use on both, but LR never released/used/spec'd a 20" rim for use on the D3, so you are on your own.
To that end, if you go the 20" route on your D3, dont forget to have a word with your insurer about fitting of non standard wheels. Some are fine with it, others add a little to the premium, but best to check and be honest about it.

FFRR (2006 onwards) & RRS 18" (watch RRS tyres as might be under rated for weight)
Does anyone here know the weight rating of this rim? I have an opportunity to purchase 4 of these and would like to use them on my 2006 Disco3 HSE 4.4 V8(NAS). I would be using them as my off road set of wheels with very aggressive rubber on them. I want to make sure they're up for the task without risk to my safety.
Again, thanks for any help with this.
I have the same question... 8) I suppose the rims are OK, but we have to watch out for the tyres. ?
I did get those rims for my vehicle and they are top rated for weight (same as stock rims) so that will never be an issue. It's up to you what tires you put on.1998 Discovery LSE - Gold, 249,000+ miles, completely stock

Note to moderator: please suggest correct place to post this message.
Could someone who knows someone in the industry please lobby the manufacturer of the rims depicted below to bring out a range of 17-20" (and suitable widths). I think they are just the greatest... They may be sold under the name Minilites.
