I make it about 40 miles from centre of York to Centre of Tong.
Buckingham & Rogue if you are really able to do this for me, it would be very very much appreciated.
Hopefully I'll be able to return the favour some day (as the requests come in to help shift furniture in my new trailer... )
Doc, how would this fit in with you? Bodsys Brake Bible

If my trip dosn't work out, I could always tie up with Buckingham and deliver to Rogue at Tong.
I'm 13 miles north of York.
He could even pop it in to me on his way there? ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

If Doc could meet me at Bothwell services M74, which would save me a detour, I could drag it to Ron's in York no problem...roughly 200 miles which I have to do anyway....
Is it a nice big, heavy trailer that I can blat down the motorway at 90 with or is a tiddly bouncy one?

It's a Brenderup 1150s, so not a big trailer. Could always load some stone in it to weigh it down..
Doc will be able to tell you what it's like to tow.
Thanks again. Bodsys Brake Bible

Bothwell services.....no trouble for me....when?
towing.....tows a treat, cover means its not a big airbrake and nice heavy jockeywheel and steel chassis/extended sides=not bouncy.....also, has proper car wheels and tyres.....not squitty wee wheelbarrow ones.
the black LR badge on the back means it even looks cool! 2007 HSE Java Black.....sold

Any chance you could get some Stormers fitted ...
just for that little tow from York to Bradford? ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Hi All,
So if I work out your generosity correctly there are two potentials....
OPTION ONE
RonP potentially going to Glasgow on 25th September, Collect from Bothwell Services on M74 from Doc D (exact time to be arranged)
RonP to take it home & then take to Tong on 30th
Rogue to collect from RonP at Tong & bring it back to Midlands.
Rogue/Bodsy to arrange collection date/time
With this Option, it will depend on if RonP's trip to Glasgow goes ahead.
OPTION TWO
Buckingham coming from Glasgow on Saturday 29th September. Collect from Bothwell Services on M74 from Doc D (exact time to be arranged)
Buckingham to take it to York on 29th to meet up with RonP (exact location/time to be confirmed) RonP to take it home & then take to Tong on 30th
Rogue to collect from RonP at Tong & bring it back to Midlands.
Rogue/Bodsy to arrange collection date/time
For this Option, would need to be confirmed by 20th September as Buckingham may not be on-line after then.
I think the safer option would be option TWO (Not because of Ron's driving , but just as it is a slim chance he will be going there), of course if that is agreeable to all parties?
If you can confirm this, then I thank you all very much and I hope I can re-pay the favour in the future.

Looks more like Option 2, as time goes on.
Don't think I'll be going North that week.
Possibly best leave off Option 1.
Will advise [if of any use] if it does go ahead. ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Adrian, that would be fantastic if it's possible. I can use it on the 15th to clear out the garden!
I've been looking for an excuse to get to the Northern meeting on Monday, so could go via Manchester (unless your going to the meeting too Wiggs, I could meet you there?)
Doc D, how does this fit in with your schedule?
