Alfwarez and I did an inspection trip, good fun, found no other 4x4
The dam has water, places you can cross are knee deep and other places you need a sub. I got stuck on the crest of one of the many inclines , the truck went into extended mode but it was stuck, thanks to Alfwarez plus one recovery strap we got out. No damage was sustained just a bit of ego suffered and lots of dust was produced.
Heine, it is definitely a place where you can do a lot but you have to be a group, and note its R80 to get in. Lets do this soon.
How does first weekend Oct 6 or 7 sound, its way ahead and that gives us a better chance not to get "appropriated by the calendar police." White LR3 TDV6 2007

Sounds good, maybe next time Heine can show the route to take as Richard and myself had no idea and took a few chances that work and others were we got stuck. I sustained small amount of damage on the bottom of the plastic side protectors. Nice meeting you Richard.

Baben / Heine please put the STT's on there are places where it would really be interesting to see what they do. the standard Goodyear rubber is useless in some places. Luckely there where no other 4x4 it would have been White LR3 TDV6 2007

Went up to Madikwe game reserve the week-end and travelled the dirt road to Sun City back. This morning felt a pull to the left - front left tyre almost flat !
Even parts manager at Sandton LR says that the standard rubber is
Now contemplating if I should put new tyres on before my trip to Moz next week ???
