we have a driveway to get to our house, There is a little bit of slope at the end before the main road and we turn left there but we do not even use the car that often
Do not exactly production date but those were mounted on the car in November 2012 and have done about 38000 km (23600 miles)
Geometry done (and camber washers chaged) in december 2015) after changing lower ArmsIt takes all sorts (to make a world).

Hi
I had a similar issue. Are they wintracs?
I had front bushes and new wheel bearing fitted.
Then the tyres wore rapidly.
I was told it was due to new set up, it accelerated the issues.
This was the same reason given by 3 different people , local Indy, tyre fitters and AA
Have put a new set on - all fine touch wood.
Local tyre guys have checked the alignment twice since and all good.
Tyres now wearing evenly.Learning everyday!

Yes they are (Vredestein Wintrac 4 Xtreme)
So time to change them and hopefully the new ones will not have issues
Was now thinking to buy summer tyres for the 19 and next winter to buy winter tyres for the 18It takes all sorts (to make a world).

Hi
I did run a couple of old tyres with even tread first for a few weeks
Just to check the advice I was given was correct.
Might be worth a try before shelling out
On new tyres.
Good luck with it Learning everyday!

Mine have done similar, on Duratracs, I have just replaced track rod ends, due to mot failure, I do wonder if the play contributed to the tyre issue. 4 wheel alignment was done due to tyre wear, but the fronts weren't reall out far enough to cause weird tyre wear

The 3rd set of Wintracs on my Disco....I have never seen this
The Disco is driven by three regular drivers on normal commutes, long journeys, a bit of off road, massive differences in road types (good to 'Effin awfull)...
Maybe the limit of using winter rubber in non winter conditions has been achieved ?
It must depend on the conditions & the way the Disco is driven (massive amount of variables) as opposed to maybe a tyre quality issue.BREXIT - done properly.

These tyres are three years old, and from the looks of things have been used all year round. I may be deceived by the photo's, but it looks like the wear is mostly on the outside. UV light affects rubber. I think it's probably no shame to the tyre that it needs replaced now.
My vred's got to a similar age and were starting to show similar wear patterns.

I used to run wintracs all year round on my previous disco until i noticed an issue similar (no where near as bad) to this. I have a gravel drive that requires a 3 point turn to get back out. I put it down to a combination of gravel grinding and summer temperatures.MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

that might well be the reason then
Now question
Would you still use them next winter?
I am planning to buy summer tyres for the 19 wheels but was wondering if it makes sense to keep them on and use them for one more winter or notIt takes all sorts (to make a world).

I'd get your alignment checked again.
My tyres did exactly the same after I replaced lower arm bushes and ball joints on the way to the alignment centre.

I got same problem my tyres - car has done less than 10k from new. The alignment has been checked, marginally out from factory setting, adjustment has been made. All driving completed on roads, no off roading at all. The wear is on the outer side of the tyre wall but on both sides.
