Am I creating myself problems ?
Might be over complicating this. But we will be loading the boot fully to the ceiling behind the dog guard so cant see the trailer in the rear view mirror. Trailer is small hence you cant see it in the wing mirrors either.
So with some conduit pipe I have fabricated some poles with side inserts which will enable me to see it in the wing mirrors.
Decided to spray paint the side pieces with luminous paint so they stand out more and easier to see while we drive through the night. Will the French Rozzer's be a) suitably impressed, b) use it as a tool to try and find fault, c) other ?
Appreciate any thoughts
Thanks JamesJames favourite hobby is writing in the third person.

French Rozzers? Not sure the Rozzers this side of the Channel would be that impressed.
I agree with Del Buy some wing mirror extensions (as in caravan type) When you tow the trailer put them on instead of having the hang mans post on either side of the trailer

Just assume it's behind you. If TripComp mpg goes up assume otherwise.
I think you would when it starts to move to the left or right When you are moving forward you know it will follow. When you go though a gap if the car fits though so will the trailer. I don't really see a problem. I tow a small trailer behind my work car (Ford Galaxy) and I cannot see that either but when I reverse it pops into view and you can then deal with it. If you cant reverse it take it off its small enough to handle

The fact that your setup looks inadequate compared toto the disco is bad enough having east European aerials on makes it hideous. Why not put a single flexible rod in the middle of the backend of the trailor with a GB flag on. Thus way you will see it in your rear view mirror.... D3 HSE

Do you have a sunroof?
You could ask SWMBO to stick her head out to shout left hand down

I personally dont give a monkeys what it looks like or what part of Europe it may originate from
Unfortunately fully laden it is to heavy to move and there will be occasions where I will need to reverse it. From past experience once it is in view of your wing mirror it is to late and gets all out of shape.
I thought what i had done was a sensible solution, just wasnt sure whether the glow in the dark paint was a step to far.....James favourite hobby is writing in the third person.

sun roof yes. But two issues, stopped working about 4 years ago and I haven't bothered getting it sorted.
secondly the roof has 4 bikes on it so if it did work, Debs would hit her head on a pedal or two !!James favourite hobby is writing in the third person.
