I often tow a small trailer that I can't see and I don't think extending wing mirrors would help you see it 'cos I bought some and they were a waste of time!

I also reckon that you would come to the attention of the police because projections like those from the trailer would be considered dangerous in any accident.

In the end I had to accept the fact that the trailer would always follow me even tho I couldn't see it and then when it came to reversing I would either have to manage the best I could or if the wife was with me she would get out and shout at me - but not necessarily helpful encouraging words.....! Laughing
