Even with wing mirror extensions I am not sure you will see the trailer ? compared to the disco it is v small
Wouldn't be legal, as the bottom edge of your mirror is below 2 metres, mirrors should not project more than 20cms than the widest part of the vehicle or trailer, 25cms on vehicles used befor 2010.

Mr K, you could just take the wheels off the trailer and stick said trailer on the roof.

Or, when at site. Ask nicely for SWMBO to get out and push the trailer with you shouting 'left hand down'

Now that's really going to ruin the start of the holibobs.
I can just imagine the cries of "left, left, no other left.

Could you have the extensions over the trailer and then just swing them out for reversing? You'll know its there as you'll have the tell tale in the dash?MY2023 Discovery 5 R-Dynamic 3.0

Amongst my trailer "selection" I've got a small one which is actually the most used especially for holidays as our car as always totally rammed and the roof too. With my D3 I never found a way to see it properly and learnt to just use the force in the end. As others have said its way smaller than the car so you know it will follow where ever can fit the Disco. Reversing small trailers always worse than large if its in your mirrors its too late and time to get out and push it !
I put a jockey wheel on it to aid it when its heavy, seems daft on such a small trailer but made life easier. Current D4 has cameras and a proper trailer view that can be permanently on the dash screen whilst driving which is very useful. I do carry 5 bikes on the top of mine which does mean you can see those through the top of the rear view mirror maybe thats something to help rather than using the roof?

Del have you had the injectors fitted yet ?
I am the guest in residence at Chez Disco_Mikey next Wednesday. I've got the feeling he may be getting me to work stripping the Tango SE while he changes my injectors. He knows what a wizard I am with all things mechanical.
