Black Forest Performance Upgrade |
|
Thanks 10FC. Diesel Tune (from their website) seem to offer a 'plug in' solution as opposed to the Torq Tune or Autologic approaches which remap the ECU. I know this has been covered before, but what are the pro's and con's of what appear to be two quite different approaches?
Cheers,

Anyone doing this in Sydney ?
There was an article in October's Overlander on an Autologic upgrade going into a RR Sport. Was done at Bruce Davis Performance Landys, somewhere in Sydney.

had the Davis Performance upgrade yesterday on the TDV6 gives 185Kw at3653rpm and 545Nm @ 2598rpm. Was recommended by long term Landy owner. Big worry is the licence!! First impression is very good, smoother acceleration, a ton of grunt and apparently better fuel economy. Cost $950 They will re-program for free if the dealer upgrades software Take the road less traveled. Dual battery system.ORS drawers,LR cargo Barrier.ARB Bull bar, side protection bars,Mickey Thompson ATR's 17" rims, Rear wheel carrier, radiator guard TPMS Mitchell Bros Tow Hitch LR RAI Steel Rims , GME UHF, Off Road GPS, Llams (yet to be fitted)

Hope to take it on a bit of a run to check out fuel consumption, but cant help planting the foot. I know the lag has disappeared and it seems quieter. The guy that recommended the upgrade had it done to his RR a couple of years ago and no issues. He has sold that to a member of the RR club and had his "3" done for a couple of months with no issues. Will keep all updated.

Well for the SECOND TIME my post above has had Dieseltune contact details removed so I guess one of the other sponsors has more clout as they pay more than I do... so I wouldn't rely on your post reading the same as it does now for very long Simon
Not been advised as to why it's been edited or how I seemingly 'transgressed'

Because the person the contact details are for is not a DISCO3 sponsor, and is banned from my sites for persistent rule breaking, despite many opportunities to redeem himself and show I can trust him.
