No, I just got a fixed price for the 7 year service. I don't want her hearing me in case she thinks she needs her aches and pains at so much per hour.
Will prob get the tensioners changed anyway during belt change as they don't charge any more Labour for that when doing the front belt.

Bit of an update on what was Guava. Just got a phone call to book in MOT & service (MOT already done), was told that Peasemarch is now (or going to be) a PDI service centre only. Makes sense from their point of view but the final nail in the coffin for Guava. RIP.

Will do, and hopefully she’ll get her annual wash even though I’m not sure she needs it. Last washed 1/6/17. Could do with a bit of a hoover for removing crumbs though.

How a fantastic ambassador for the brand can be destroyed in a very short time. I’m still gutted that they have gone. I’m currently dealing with a Jaguar dealer in Chichester, nice people but not the same.DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

I booked a service for April 4th back in January with Lookers Chipperfield, also booked two problems to be looked at, Drivers Seat Belt to reclining and has damaged the door Card, Handbrake not releasing correctly and binding.
They collected the D4 at 12:30 on the 4th, called two hours later said they didn’t have enough time to complete the service, can they keep the D4 for another day. No.
They completed the service and when asked about the Hand Brake, they said they had fixed it, it be needed adjusting. But they needed the vehicle back again for three days to look at the seat belt and they found an oil leak on the gearbox. Earliest appoint 16th May.
Handbrake binding more than ever now.
Returned the vehicle on the 16th for three days, one to access the three issues and order parts, day two to wait for parts, day three to fit the parts.
Come the third day 3pm get a call to say they haven’t even looked at it yet and would be ready Monday.
So the three days they needed, all of a sudden they can do it in a day.
Finally got a call on the Tuesday saying it would be ready Wednesday, they still had to resolve the seat belt, new seat belt mechanism to be fitted but forgot to order the retaining bolts, but no fault found with the handbrake, advised them that we would not be returning the loaner until they found the fault as it was embarrassing that pedestrians flag you down it town telling you the vehicle is squeaking from the rear as you drive along.
Wednesday they called to say it was ready, they had removed the rear discs and cleaned and lubricated the mechanism, the gearbox leak was a loose bung, the seat belt all done, but not the door card.
Now waiting a call to fit the door card.
Six days at the dealers to get a seat belt, binding handbrake and tighten a bung.
Asked them not to wash it as it had just been valeted inside and out two days before going in.
They had parked it next to the wash bay during the hottest period of the year, been returned with the front covered in baked on TFR and a 4” crease in the drivers door.

shocking, but sadly I’m not shocked.
I haven’t been to a main dealers in a few years now, and nor do I want to, as my Indy is absolutely excellent. They are not cheap but do a very thorough job way beyond what the service schedule states.
Good luck going forward

Stop using them Del and find someone who actually wants to do a good job so you return.

It’s in there now for this one, 11 months to figure out what to do for service after that. Had they not been able to fit her in I would have been in a bit of a bind as want to have it done and do at least one decent shakedown trip before I head to Finland in shade over 3 weeks.
