Broken bonnet catch

I've just encountered the same problem. Opened the bonnet yesterday and no joy this morning. I need to swap grills so could someone PM me the workaround.

I looked and tried but couldn't figure it out in the time I had this morning Big Cry


I have an Hawke grill if that changes anything.

Mine as well.

Hi, I have an 06 LR3 here in the US. The hood release does not work and I have pulled the interior apart to try pulling on the cable itself. That resulted in the cable pulling out and not pulling free from the infused. It sounds like it may not be connected at a junction box. Any chance someone could PM me with help on how to get the hood open after this?

My bonnet release is not working. Is there a way to release the catches without the handle ? Its urgent - my Disco is saying low coolant !

Hi. I'm in Greece about to setting off to drive to UK. My bonnet opened yesterday when I was checking fluids. This evening I pulled the lever and nothing happened. Can someone help please? 2006 Disco 3 cherished vehicle fully serviced.
