I was just about to order some, but with the euro-conversion and all that it works out a little bit expensive... Whistle (about 7100 quid too expensive)

I'll tell you what....Bodsy can buy a few tins for me and I'll ahem promise to give him the money when he next comes over to Barcelona ok? Laughing Laughing

Seriously though...wasn't this the stuff used by that bloke on Fifth Gear (Paul something or other) to polish the Maserati?

A very, very, very good wax, but how good is good. i know a few detailers who offer this, such as Mr Detailer himself Paul Dalton (remember him from the Fifth Gear bit? )

Although the free refills for life is a bit misleading. The tub has to be returned to the US of A for refill and returned all by insured courier at a cost rumoured to be circa £3k Shocked

BTW I'm opening a unit for detailing soon. Just like the one below. I'm interviewing later this week. Thumbs Up

Maybe not work safe Whistle

Strange policy....assuming that the empty tub costs 20 pounds, why don't they just send you a new one at half price (approx 3000 quid)?

...if they were worried that you were just pretending you'd used it all up, you could easily just empty the contents and then send it in anyway.....

Also, why are there two tubs....is one a catalyst or something?

You could imagine the Zymol flurry on ebay if they just sent you a refill Rolling with laughter

No idea about the two tubs ?? As they both contain the same product. Must just be a packaging thing to show you have spent a lot of money Mr. Green

What is the best thing to put on the black plastic wheel arches, mirrors, bumper corners and tailgate handle to keep them looking good. Question

Hi Russell,

Sorry I have not been keeping and eye on this thread. The best product that I have found and is recommended in the detailing world is this:

http://www.cleanandshiny.co.uk/index.php?a...oductId=21

It is easy to put on and easy to buff off. Unlike the Halfrauds products that you would normally buy, it lasts for a very long time!

Regards

Chris

Ummmm, This may cause some flack Whistle
Here is my solution , In the first place you should have purchased a dirt coloured one [the pin striped desk jockeys at the steelers keep telling me its "Myan Gold"] This colour does not ever realy require cleaning other than a hose when it gets realy covered in mud. This leaves me a lot more time to go out and have fun Twisted Evil
Eneyway this is the my point of view, being an Oz sheep farmer may have something to do with it Whistle

Rob Sheep Sheep

I can feel the flack heading this way allready Mr. Green Rolling Eyes Shocked Embarassed

Bodsy,
If I wash it , Its covered in dust by the time I get to my mail box, If it ever rains again it will be covered with mud by the time I get to my mail box Shocked
But seriously I like the inside spotless Whistle and guess what the only dust that gets in seems to come in is on shoes etc. These D3s sure have good dust seals or at least mine has Thumbs Up

It's obviously important to start with a dirty bucket...

... sand swirls in the paint, is all the rage apparently

Hopefully they've done it properly and cleaned the brakedust off the wheels first with a sponge that has been soaked in sand and then ground it into the fading paintwork for that true moroccan look.....
