LED bulbs
Recently bought some LED bulbs to use in the rear lights.
On the package it says that they are CAN bus safe.
Have not tried them yet, but will they really work as the brake light bulbs seems to be a serious business.
Please advice.

Can't say specifically about the ones you've got, but I've got LED brake, indicator & reverse lights from Advanced Factors & never had a problem with them, so it is possible to use CAN bus compliant LED bulbs in a D3
Just ordered led brake / tail light bulbs for D3. I'll post again when I've tried them
Purchased from advancedfactors.co.uk for 22.45 inc vat and delivery

I've had the AF LED brake/tail lamps in now for over a year with no issues. Same with the reverse ones.
Loads more light coming from them, especially handy is the reverse, ten times better then the low powered candles that come as standard.De-Tango
V8 Brakes
EGRs blanked
Running boards
3 flash indicators and clock on dash
Blingy grille...
Good to know. I'll def go for the led reversing bulbs as well

Anyone know where to get decent bright reversing lights? AF don't seem to stock the super bright ones anymore 2008 TDV8 Sport HSE
1973 SIII Lightweight
Etc
Led lights work a treat. Just ordered some more from af for reversing lights. Not sure if they are super bright but there are 2 types one brighter than the other.

Any recomondations for turn signal LED`s front ?
Have LED`s there now. Buts not super bright, as the ones i have in the rear lamps...D3, MY06
Disappointment.....
W5w bulbs I bought from hids4u maybe 18 months ago that haven't really had that much use are all failing....some used in D3 sidelights, number plate lights, puddle lights (under doors) etc.
The site blurb says these are good quality (not low cost)
So migrated Philips ones bought off the net (Amazon)....so far so good with these.
These have a warranty that goes with the purchase receipt.
I just wonder the actual brand the Advanced Factors ones are?
I've resisted the temptation of E-Bay so far.....
Maybe the same source as HID's4U...?BREXIT - done properly.

Try these bad boys. Got 30 in use on 2 D3/4s & SWMBO's Jazz and not a single element on any of them has failed. Well happy.
Thanks for the recommendation
These I will try outBREXIT - done properly.
