Spare wheel solution

Hi all,

It seems very common that most of the spare wheels sooner or later will be targeted for theft.

1) does RLDs protecting case stop it from being stolen 61 reg
2) take off spare wheel and replace with cheap temp thin tyre with its limitations
3) take off the spare and tow bar and use breakdown cover when necessary
*in last 4 years had not breakdown once

This is when car kept on the road during night.

Your ideas welcome

Thanks

Rob

1) = yes, if you are worried it's your only real option.

as above no 1) is your only option Thumbs Up

No2) will result in your winch cable being broken and cheap wheel stolen - so new wheel and winch
No3) Not a good idea, what happens if you're in the middle of nowhere of perhaps off road, no recovery service will come for you

Drop Uncle Ray a PM (RLD) and ask for the latest price, delivery info etc Thumbs Up

RLD is a sure way to make sure you keep your spare wheel.

I don't think you will find one case of a nicked wheel with a RLD protector fitted.
