I have tried it with an FPLA and a BH32.
Both take the FW from Pat and both give exactly the same error.
The error date seems to suggest it is deliberately crippled to me from my car's creation date.

It works on a D3 doesn't it with an additional ECU? Maybe they did remove it then put it back on 2015+.
If so, guess that pointer/flag needs finding and clearing...which is why I thought a BCM flash to FH or GH would help.
Pretty much reached the limit of my skills here as not done any machine code since I was at college and would have no idea how to get it off, decrypt it and what to look for.

Messaged him again the other day as was gonna try again and he recons there is something in the engine ecu that just isn’t wriitten into it for it to work and after 2015 they changed software cause of euro 6 and was then addedDisco 3 gone but not forGotten

So, ACC may have been an option prior to 2015 if the photos are anythng to go by. The car is clearly a pre "pop up" gear selector, but it is RHD so poss not USA/Europe?
Why is there a fuse in 6P when its only purpose is ACC. But then why is 7E absent as well as the rest of the cabling pre 201(5)6
If we think it could be CCF then the setting tried should be documented/shared as an "as tried list" before saying it isn't. It is doubtful that all combinations that have no logic or relation to ACC or speed control can be tried. I have only tried a few combinations, but would have to do it again as I can't be 100% sure which with what. Although I expect it is pretty similar to what a 2016 is.
If the engine ECU had additional coding since 2015 (or the crippled code activated) to support it, then it existed there before so could be re-added. Generally, code is left in place and built on unless it is defective or has a completely new ECU architecture. I doubt is was a rewrite.
What was the address space it lived at in a RRS for example and what is there in a Discovery 2010-2014 (0x00 or 0xFF?) and what is in a 2015+
What exactly does the "calibrate CCM" do? What does it talk to and why does it not get a reply or get ignored?
An EU6 engine classification would not need ACC to comply as it would need to be on all cars and it isn't so why write new code for a car already going to go out of production? Even if it was copied from another platform it would still need to be tested. So this leads me to believe it is in there somewhere.
It's the "what needs to be activated" in the CCF to wake it up and/or "how to re-enable" it before the CCF.
I guess it's about ROI. But if someone like Pat cracked it then charged more than the FastLane £25 for the flash I would have it and I guess a lot of folk watching this thread would too.
Aliens didn't code it so a human can decode it and make it work - just takes time and money* to unlock it. Just like everything else.

The d4 between 2010-2015 there was no optional extra to have this so any code in the engine ecu was not added as wasn’t needed

Yes as you say the code could prob be added to the engine ecu and that but at what cost no one know the fact that a lot of people tried and none have ever got it to work must say something
BBS tried to no avail then got a Range Rover and got it to work this is something I think I am gonna pass on Now I spent months on and off trying every ccf setting you could try and it would never get into calibration modeDisco 3 gone but not forGotten

A few weeks back when I was looking for a ACC radar sensor I came across a listing on eBay.com (eBay.co.uk server had gone down), the listing was in America for new unused ACC ecu’s for D3’s, not radar sensors, the listing stated (along with a wiring diagram) a Radar sensor was also needed.
I don’t know if this is relevant as it’s beyond my knowledge.It can when others can't,

Separate radar unit and ecu for the D3, The ecu is incorporated into the radar unit on the D4.

It isn't anything to do with EU6 because that required AdBlue which was MY 2016 and ACC was an option on 2015 and 2016.
The D4 that has ACC from factory does not have AdBlue.
So that makes it a 2015 or earlier so that is not EU6 so the statement from Pat:

I'd suggest isn't the case. *Maybe* written into the ECU at 2015 or enabled but nothing to do with EU6. If it worked on a D3 then it probably wasn't specially written either.
The car was built first quarter 2014 and was driving around a month or two later but carries an F in the year identifier of the VIN. So it is a 2015 car born early.
Only going by the "As Built" details not an ECU scan:
The Cruise Control assembly is an FH22-9G768AC - Pat provides FH22-9G768-AE
Comparing the CCF settings there are several that differ and do not appear in the IID tool so these cannot be tried.
In fact one that looked pretty important has already been mentioned by BBS Spy here:
Just trying this myself but cannot find CMbB in the ccf config files and where
but it wasn't available in IID and still isn't.
I discovered that CMbB is "Collision Mitigation by Braking" and it needs to be enabled. On my VIN as built it is "not fitted/disabled" perhaps this simply needs to be enabled to support the CCF setting
"Forward collision warning -> Forward collision warning GEN 1" along with others and without it it is giving "incompatible configuration" so won't calibrate. Perhaps the FH and GH cars toggle this automatically when you enter one of the other ACC settings?

The forward alert mitigation by braking should be in the full CCF list (untested) list and can be enabled by the Gap tool. The forward alert uses info from the radar unit so no harm in trying to enable it I suppose. When enabled It adds the option to the vehicle set up menu and it can then be enabled/disabled from there. It will not stay enabled however until the calibration routine has been carried out.

It is in the and I enabled it but as you say it goes away as I can't calibrate.
The CMbB is a separate CCF setting and doesn't exist and should be either enabled (desirable by me!) or disabled/not fitted as I have.
