You'd have to do the work and compare what is (and isn't) covered with each.

I appreciate the need to do comparisons, but wondered what sort of experiences have taken place?

I've bought a motor easy polcy back in October at the cost of £605 which was a fair bit cheaper than their rivals, however my car has developed a suspension fault and subsequently went into limp mode so contacted motor easy.
This was on a Saturday morning so the guy advised best wait till Monday to get it into a specialist rather than just going to a Halfords auto centre, I agreed but when I phoned back on the Monday Halfords were the only garage available so a complete waste of time ( long story but will never use Halfords again), spoke to motor easy again as I had been recommended an independent specialist who diagnosed the compressor needs replacing, still waiting for written quotation off the garage so will wait and see if it's covered I will keep you posted but not very impressed with the service so far.

Update, motor easy have reversed their decision and covered the compressor replacement with myself having too pay 50% of the parts costs.
Better than nothing though, in the garage at the moment getting repaired
