Motor homers who think they are wild camping when in reality they are parked by the side of the road or in a carpark and think they have a god giving right to camp where they like even if it upsets the locals.
What is worse they rarely spend money in local shops, fuel stations, pubs etc. They rather spend their money in larger supermarkets, stock up with food/beer/wine/fuel and go for free 'camping' rather then spend a little bit more money and support the rural economy.

only in the UK, although granted uk motorhome people tend to be odd, could this be a thing.Mike
just had to pay a "PCN" for the father-in-law ... really annoying as i think we could have successfully challenged it if only he hadn't sat on the letter for 10 days before asking us to sort it out as he was off on a holiday.
perhaps the target of this rant should be "father-in-law" ? or more deserving were the receptionists at the Doctor's surgery where he commited his "offence". they must have had loads of "unhelpfulness" training.
but hey ... my problem with them was only about money. poor sod in front of me was being made to feel it was HIS fault that they'd only bothered raising the prescription for half the meds he needs due to asbestosis.

In Scotland only the driver is responsible for payment of a PCN and they can’t force the owner of the vehicle to disclose who that was, so in essence all demands for payment will fail. Moral of that story is don’t admit or say who was driving in any correspondence. Unfortunately doesn’t apply to England.

The surgery I'm registered with have one of these parking systems. You have to log in on an iPad at the desk when you arrive. Fail to do so and risk a charge. I understand why it's done and accept it. If they didn't do it, people would use their small private car park when they go shopping etc. meaning no spaces for patients.
I do wonder if they have old people forgetting / finding it difficult and then getting charged.Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

"When you fire that first shot, no matter how right you feel, you have no idea who's going to die! You don't know who's children are going to scream and burn. How many hearts will be broken. How many lives shattered. How much blood will spill, until everybody does what they were always going to have to do from the very beginning: SIT DOWN AND TALK!"
Dealer: "Hmmm, I've got that, but it's also got the optional carlos fandango wheels with runflats that make the ride slightly less premium and the handling marginally more likely to tramline, but it's slightly more practical than a can of foam and a pump that you get with the standard wheels. That will add £595 to the total bill, less the 20% discount we've agreed"
Me: "So about £480 total extra on the bottom line then"
Dealer: tappity-tap-tap.... "£476, Yes"
So I tell them to go ahead on this basis, order forms are produced and signed, deposits are paid.
Today sales admin email me the final bits of paperwork (that seem to duplicate all the paperwork previously completed, checked and signed, only in a different order). The bottom line has increased by a further £320 over the £476 for the optional wheels.
Why? Because they've decided the wheels put the CO2 output into the next category by 5g/km so the first year rate of tax is £320 more - something the order form refutes as it clearly stated the spec ordered was below the threshold.
Salesman and Sales Admin are going to be arriving to an inbox containing a polite invitation for the dealership to rectify this - either the car is in the lower band or they cover the increase over the agreed order form at their cost. Luckily for them it doesn't (yet) change year 2, 3, 4 tax, but if the government keep listening to earnest Swedish schoolgirls and change this retrospectively, I'll be reminding the dealership of the order form and requesting their contribution in due course.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

House was very warm this morning, so I thrust my hand out in the passing to check if the radiators are on and lacerate my hand on a corner! Blood dripping from the wound at 0530hrs isn’t the best start to the day!

tw@ts in an audi who think its OK to push out from a side road trying to force the flowing traffic to stop, and when I didnt are blasting the horn and giving me the bird.
Oh how I would love to have had an old truck and take the nose off the audi.

It’s becoming more common place these days. No one takes any notice of who has the right of way, they pull out in front of you, lane change, undertake, hog the outside lane of a dual carriageway when the inside lane is clear, don’t signal, signal incorrectly, speed when totally unnecessary, normally in a car park, go slow when you can’t overtake, drink, eat and text all at the same time, the list is endless.
